Hoisin Chicken

In a skillet, cook the garlic in the oil until it's just starting to color. Add the hoisin sauce and stir fry for 30 seconds.

Add the chicken and cook uncovered for about 10 minutes. Turn the chicken over, sprinkle with the 5 spice powder, add the mushrooms, soy sauce, wine, and water, and cover.

Cook on low heat until done, about 25 minutes.

Serve with rice and a cucumber salad.
