Quick-Roasted Chicken Parts

Pre-heat your oven to 450F.

Rub the chicken with olive oil, salt, and pepper then place half the butter and half a garlic clove under the skin of each chicken piece.

Heat a cast iron skillet and place the chicken in, skin-side down, for 3–4 minutes until the skin gets brown and crispy.

Flip the pieces of chicken over in the skillet and place it in the hot oven for 15–20 minutes until a thermometer shows an internal temperature of 165F.

Tent the chicken with foil and let it rest for 5 minutes, then serve.
