I've lost count of the number of variations on a theme of barbecue sauce I've tried. This one goes particularly well with chicken.

Put all the ingredients in a small pot and turn up the heat, then, whisking constantly, bring it to a boil and immediately turn the heat way down.

Let it simmer for ten minutes, giving it a quick stir from time to time.

Take the pot off the heat and let the sauce cool. It'll keep for a couple of weeks in a jar in the fridge.
