Buttermilk Blue Cheese Dressing

In a small bowl stir together the buttermilk, sour cream, mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, and garlic until well blended. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Now mash the blue cheese into the mixture with a fork until it resembles large-curd cottage cheese.

Dressing may be refrigerated in an air-tight container for a couple of days, but it will lose its texture and get watery after that—still edible, but unappetizing.
