Put the warm water in a bowl and add the yeast and sugar. Let this sit for 5 minutes or so.
Add all the other ingredients and fold them together until the mixture is smooth.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly-floured work surface and knead it for 5 minutes or so, then form it into a ball and put that in a bowl to rise until doubled in size, which should take about 30–60 minutes, depending upon the ambient temperature.
Pre-heat your air-fryer to 320°F.
Grease the bottom of your air-fryer basket with a little butter or oil and place the ball of dough inside (you can brush the top with a little beaten egg-water mixture if you want a shiny finish) and bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping the loaf over half-way through.
