Air-Fryer Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Back to the Beef Index

The Beef:

The Sauce:

In a large bowl mix together the salt, pepper, paprika, onion and garlic powder, then stir in the olive oil.

Cut the steak into largish bite-sized cubes and turn them in the olive oil mixture so that they are all coated, then cover the bowl and set it aside for 30 monutes.

Mince the garlic and herbs and put them in a pan with the butter. On a burner set to medium-low, melt the butter and simmer gently until the garlic is soft and fragrant. Turn off the heat and leave the pan on the stove.

Pre-heat your air-fryer to 400°F When it's hot, move the steak bites from the marinade to the air-fryer basket, letting them shed most of the marinade as you do so.

Cook the steak bites in a single layer (you don't want to steam them) for no more than 4 minutes, shaking everything up at the half-way mark.

Transfer the cooked steak bites to the pot of garlic butter and shake them together, then plate them.

Great with mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles, with a green salad on the side.
