This goes really well with pork, whether a roast or chops.
Put the apples and water in a saucepan, cover it and bring to the boil.
Boil over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes (or 1 minute in your pressure cooker, and let it cool way down before opening).
Stir in the sugar and cook until it dissolves, then add cinnamon or nutmeg.
This'll keep for a couple of weeks in a jar in the fridge. You can use it warm or cold, as you please.
