- 1 cup soft brown sugar
- 0.5 cup chili sauce
- 0.25 cup ketchup
- 0.5 cup dark rum
- 0.25 cup soy sauce
- 2–3 Tbsp. sambal oelek or dried chili flakes
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 garlic cloves, flattened and minced
- 0.125 tsp. fresh ground black pepper
- 0.125 tsp. liquid smoke
Stir it all together in a bowl and store it in a jar.
It'll keep for a week or so in the fridge.
